In an exciting collaboration between Northern Ireland and the United States, join us for a rehearsed reading of Committed Citizen, followed by a post-show discussion which we hope will open up an international dialogue about abortion rights and access.

The work doesn’t stop - for access and social acceptance of abortion rights. Get in on the creative process of this exciting piece of new writing.

Directed by Jessica Bashline, written by Abbe Tanenbaum and featuring Shaleah Adkisson, Ellen Corby, Katie Mack, Jonelle Robinson, and Jacqueline Sydney

Committed Citizen, a new play by Abbe Tanenbaum is a story of intergenerational sisterhood and personal agency.

Anne, a professional organizer, is helping Nora get her cluttered apartment ready for her 80th birthday bash -- digging through the past to make the most of the present and challenging the stories we tell ourselves in the process.

All the letters that appear in this play are real and were written by women from all over America seeking abortions in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.
